A manufacturer's website where buyers find the products, the parameters and the lead time.

A manufacturing company needs a product catalogue with an enquiry basket, machines and equipment, references, documents to download and job openings, with capacity, certifications and lead times stated clearly. The “Manufacturer” blueprint sets this up; the Business website starter site fits it best.

What manufacturers need.

  • Your products in the catalogue, with parameters to compare
  • At least one reference project the customer agreed to publish
  • Your usual lead time – every buyer's first question
  • A catalogue checked at least once a year: prices, availability, datasheets
  • The company registration number in Business details
  • Published terms and conditions

What you get

Built in, not bolted on.

Everything below comes with Kaleta – no paid plugins or licences, tested together in every update.

  • Products – parameters to compare, variants and a datasheet; buyers collect them in an enquiry basket instead of a checkout.
  • Machines and equipment – a page for each machine with a photo, the model, a table of parameters, the year, a datasheet and its availability.
  • References – reference projects with the client, an image, the result and the year, each with its own page.
  • Documents – datasheets, certificates and terms with versions and a stable download address that survives a new edition.
  • Job openings – an application form with a CV on each job page; a job hides itself after its closing date.
  • Facts, stated once – founded, number of employees, production area in m², certifications, countries we deliver to, minimum order and usual lead time.

Step by step

From install to launch.

  1. Install – choose the Business website starter site in the installer.
  2. Blueprint – apply the “Manufacturer” blueprint in Business details → Blueprints, or ask Claude to apply it.
  3. Questions – answer the blueprint's questions; each answer is saved as a fact.
  4. Content – fill the new collections (products, machines, references, documents, job openings); their list pages stay hidden until you publish them.
  5. Check and publish – work through the blueprint's checks in the site audit, then publish.

FAQ

Questions and answers.

How does Claude work on a manufacturer's site?

It leads with the product catalogue, the lead time and a direct contact, writes factually and technically – a parameter table says more than adjectives – and keeps company figures as facts. It never invents certifications, standards, customers, references, capacities, tolerances or prices, and publishes a reference only with the customer's agreement. There is no checkout: visitors collect products into an enquiry, and datasheets, certificates and terms go into the document library so a new edition keeps its address.

What does applying the blueprint change?

It creates the collections above that the site does not have yet, each with a hidden list page, and the facts without values – your pages stay as they are. Its checks join the site audit and its instructions reach every Claude connection. If you remove it, the checks, questions and instructions go; the collections and facts stay.
