Move from Squarespace to Kaleta.

Squarespace can export some content as a WordPress-format XML file, which Kaleta’s importer reads – though it has not been tested with Squarespace exports. What does not come across, Claude rebuilds from the live site.

Step by step

How the move works.

No command line. Test everything on a subdomain first; the old site keeps running until you switch the domain.

Install Kaleta – on a test subdomain and choose the starter site closest to your current one.
Connect Claude – in My account → Claude, so it can work with your permissions.
Try the export – in Squarespace export the site, upload the file in Import and export → WordPress and check the preview.
List your pages – give Claude the addresses of your Squarespace pages, or the sitemap.
Rebuild as drafts – Claude builds each page from Kaleta sections in your design system; you check the previews.
Redirect and switch – add 301 redirects from the old addresses, publish, and point the domain to the new site.
