Getting started

How the admin fits together.

Seven menu groups by job, three hubs with tabs, Waiting for you on the Dashboard – and how work moves from Ask Claude to a person who publishes.

The admin is at /admin.php. Its menu is grouped by job, a few related screens share one menu item with tabs, and the Dashboard tells you what waits for you. What you see depends on your role and on the features switched on.

The seven menu groups

GroupWhat lives there
ContentPages, News (with categories and tags), Collections, Media, Newsletters
CompanyBusiness details, Bookings
CustomersEnquiries, Subscribers, Statistics
AppearanceSite appearance, Site parts, Menu, Components, Pop-ups
ClaudeAsk Claude, Claude settings
Site careSite audit, Redirects, Change log, System status
AdministrationUsers (with roles), Settings, Integrations, Features, Import and export, Whistleblowing, Fleet

A section of a feature that is switched off – Bookings, Whistleblowing or the fleet console, for example – is not in the menu at all.

Three hubs

A hub keeps related screens behind one menu item, with tabs across the top. You see only the tabs you may open.

  • Business details (Company): Company and opening hours · Facts · Claims · Blueprints. Editors may change it; the legal identifiers – company ID, VAT ID, register entry and representative – and the Blueprints tab stay with administrators. See Business details and opening hours.
  • Claude settings (Claude, for administrators): how to connect, the instructions and guardrails for Claude and every connection of the site, with the tabs Ask Claude · Scheduled runs · Notebook · Claude sessions.
  • Features (Administration): the built-in features you switch on and off, with Add-ons as its second tab. See Features.

Older addresses keep working: the former Settings tabs Company and System status lead to Business details and System status.

Waiting for you

The Dashboard lists everything that waits for a person: requests Claude finished, pages and site parts with unpublished changes, unresolved comments on drafts, news drafts, hidden collection items changed in the last 30 days, proposed exceptions to the opening hours and unpublished changes of the look. Each row leads to the screen where you review it, and each person sees only what they may open. Claude reads the same list with list_pending_review (the prompt review_pending).

Where Claude fits

Claude never runs on the site – it works from the Claude app or Claude Code through the site's connection, with the access you approved. The work moves like this:

  1. Ask Claude – write what you need in the box on the Dashboard or under Claude → Ask Claude.
  2. A request – your text waits there until Claude works on it: a scheduled run picks it up, or a person asks Claude to work through the open requests.
  3. Drafts – Claude does the work as drafts and proposals and answers the request with a note and links to them.
  4. A person publishes – the drafts show up in Waiting for you; you review them, then publish or apply them.

What Claude may change depends on the access of its connection – see What Claude can do on your site.
