News, forms and company

Leads: steps, calculators and triage.

Multi-step forms, conditions and price estimates; enquiries sorted with a drafted reply; next steps after sending; calls counted as leads; testimonials with consent.

Steps

In the Form element add a field of the type New step wherever a new step should begin – its label is the step's title. Visitors move with Back and Next; each step is checked before the next one. Without JavaScript all steps are shown on one page.

Conditions

Any field can show only when another field has a given answer: fill in Show only when the field labelled… with that field's label and …has this value with the answer (* = anything filled in). A hidden field is never required and never sent.

Price estimate

  • Give options a price: Windows | 1200 – visitors see only “Windows”.
  • A number field can have a price per unit (the number × the price).
  • Add a field of the type Price estimate with a base price and a currency. Visitors see it change as they answer; the site computes it again when the form is sent and stores it with the enquiry.

Where the enquiry came from and what happens next

Every enquiry records what it was about – the service, the product or the page it was sent from. In the form's settings, What happens next, We reply within (working hours, counted in your opening hours) and Who replies appear after sending and in the confirmation e-mail: “We will reply on Monday by 11:00.”

Triage

  • Each enquiry gets a kind (sales, support, job application, supplier, spam, other), a priority and a drafted reply.
  • Job applications are sorted at once; Claude sorts the rest when you ask it; Sort new enquiries with the AI assistant in Enquiries does it in the background (the text then goes to your AI provider).
  • Your own sorting always wins. Spam stays out of the list. Reply by email with the draft opens the draft in your e-mail – nothing is ever sent by itself.

Calls and e-mail clicks

A click on a phone number, an e-mail address or a WhatsApp link counts as a lead, per page, next to the forms in Statistics – without cookies, once per visitor and day, only when statistics are on.

Testimonials

In an enquiry, Ask for a testimonial by e-mail sends the customer a personal link for 30 days. They write their words, name and role, may add a photo, and give separate consents for the words and the photo. It arrives as a hidden draft in References, with the consent they gave – publish it when you are happy with it.
